Police have blocked off a section of the Aberdeen beach promenade for an investigation. The incident occurred on Monday morning, with emergency services arriving at the Esplanade just before 10:30 am on October 7th.

Several police vehicles, including six cars and two vans, as well as an ambulance, were present at the scene. Despite the ambulance leaving later, officers remained on site conducting their investigations.

Braving the harsh weather conditions, officers were observed patrolling the area surrounding the incident, including the Esplanade pavement. Drivers were redirected away from the area, and pedestrians were asked to move to the opposite side of the Esplanade to allow officers to focus on the beach area.

While the road remained open to traffic, a police cordon was established on the pavement beside the roadway. The exact nature of the incident has not been confirmed by authorities, but an ambulance was dispatched to the scene following a call received at 10:23 am.

As of now, the police have not provided any comments regarding the ongoing investigation. Reporters are actively following the story and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
