Well, guess what folks? Two more small plots of land in Aberdeenshire were up for grabs today. Can you believe it? The first plot, located in Kingswells, was actually re-auctioned after making an appearance in a viral TikTok video. Yeah, you heard that right – TikTok! The tiny grassy areas at Wellside Circle were initially sold for £1,750 back in January. But after the video by the account “Housing Horrors” went viral, it was back on the market.

In the video, the creator expressed their disbelief at the value of the land, saying, “You couldn’t even pay me a tenner to buy that bit of land. I just can’t think of what on earth you could even put on it.” Well, someone did end up bidding on it today, with the final offer coming in at £1,000. Can you imagine what you would do with that land?

But wait, there’s more! It wasn’t just Kingswells that had some interesting plots up for auction. Two small areas near Westwood Grove in Westhill were also sold for £3,000. Surprisingly, these wooded areas and pedestrian paths were up for grabs with the potential for “future residential development.” Who would have thought, right?

The land, measuring approximately 1,370 square metres, includes several trees on a small hill, separated by a small street. Future Property Auctions even advertised it as having “excellent capital growth potential.” Seems like a pretty good deal, especially considering its proximity to the Westhill Golf Club.

And that’s not all! Another plot on Westhill Heights also made an appearance at the auction. This “rectangular shaped” plot fetched a final price of £10,500 after three bids were made. It may only measure 815 square metres, but it’s located right next to the Westhill Golf Club. Talk about a prime development opportunity, right?

So, there you have it folks – a couple of small plots of land in Aberdeenshire that went under the hammer today. Not really sure why this matters, but hey, it’s always interesting to see what people are willing to bid on. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like there’s always a surprise waiting around the corner at these auctions. Who knows, maybe the next plot up for sale will be in your own backyard.
