Sky Sports Plus, a new feature from Sky TV, NOW, and the Sky Sports app, will give customers access to more live sports this year at no extra cost. With the ability to show up to 100 live events at once, fans can easily find and watch their favorite teams. This weekend, all games from the Championship, League One, and League Two will be streamed live, a first in broadcasting history.
The EFL will be a major focus of Sky Sports Plus, with over 1,000 games from the Championship, League One, and League Two being shown live throughout the season, along with every Carabao Cup match. Rugby league and tennis fans can also enjoy live coverage of Super League matches, ATP and WTA Tours, and the US Open.
For Sky Sports subscribers, there is no need to pay extra to watch their team. The new Sky Sports Plus feature will seamlessly integrate into the existing Sky experience, allowing fans to watch matches on various devices. New customers can also take advantage of a special offer to get Sky Sports and Sky TV in Ultra HD with Netflix included.
Sky Sports Plus can be found on channel 410 for Sky Glass customers, 412 for Sky Q customers, and 416 for ROI. The Sky Sports app also offers personalization features for mobile users to follow their favorite teams and access live streams. Each weekend, 10 EFL matches will be shown live, including games from all three divisions.
While some fixtures may be rescheduled for broadcasting, the majority will remain unchanged. The ‘3pm blackout’ period on Saturday afternoons will still be in effect, with broadcast fixtures scheduled outside of this time. Sky Sports Plus will replace the EFL’s previous streaming option, iFollow, starting this season.
Overall, Sky Sports Plus offers an exciting opportunity for fans to enjoy more live sports coverage across various leagues and tournaments. With the convenience of streaming on multiple devices and the inclusion of popular sporting events, viewers can look forward to an action-packed season ahead.
