In the early hours of the morning, a fire broke out at a flat in Aberdeen, leading to three individuals requiring medical attention. The incident prompted the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to dispatch four fire appliances to the Hallfield Road area upon receiving the alarm at 12:48 am on Thursday.
Upon arrival, firefighters swiftly moved three individuals to safety and they were subsequently assessed by the Scottish Ambulance Service before being transported to the hospital. As of now, the condition of the individuals remains unknown.
The firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze and concluded their operation by 2 am. During the operation, they utilized a thermal image camera to aid in their efforts.
A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service provided details of the response, stating, “We were summoned to a fire on Hallfield Road in Aberdeen during the night. Four appliances were dispatched, with two coming from North Anderson Drive and two from Aberdeen Central.”
“At the scene, we utilized two main reel jets, one hose reel jet, six officers equipped with breathing apparatus, and a thermal image camera. The three individuals affected were handed over to the Scottish Ambulance Service for further medical attention and transportation to the hospital.”
