In Aberdeen, a fire broke out at a home on Hallfield Road in Sheddocksley, leading to three individuals being rushed to the hospital. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service received the alert about the fire at 12:48 am and immediately dispatched four appliances to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters utilized two main reel jets, one hose reel jet, and six breathing apparatus to combat the flames. Additionally, a thermal imaging camera was used to assess the situation. The severity of the injuries sustained by the three individuals remains unknown at this time.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman stated, “We were called to a fire on Hallfield Road in Aberdeen overnight. We were called at 12:48 am and sent four appliances. Two attended from North Anderson Drive and two from Aberdeen Central. At the scene, we used two main reel jets, one hose reel jet, six officers used breathing apparatus, and we also used a thermal image camera. Three people were taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service to hospital.”
The firefighters were able to bring the situation under control and issued a stop sign at 2:05 am. However, details regarding the condition of the individuals taken to the hospital have not been disclosed. Efforts to obtain comments from Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service are ongoing.
